Easy Applesauce
A crockpot and blender makes for an easy version of a classic applesauce.
- 12-15 large apples of any variety, but Harrelsons are lovely
- 1/4 cup water
Core and thinly slice the apples. Do not peel.
Place the apples in a large crockpot
Cook on low overnight.
In the morning, use a slotted spoon and scoop out the apples into a blender. Blend on high.
If you would like, place in sterilized pint jars. Use new 2 part lids. Process in steam or hot water bath for 20 minutes.
